Crossroads works to bolster the local food system through programs that support and unite those who grow, make, and eat fresh, healthy food.

At the heart of this integrated network of food growers, makers, and consumers is Crossroads Farmers Market in Takoma Park, Maryland, where our Fresh Checks nutrition incentives make healthy food more affordable in Maryland’s International Corridor. Crossroads’ Healthy Eating Program brings farm-to-fork programming to the community, and our Microenterprise Development Program & TPSS Community Kitchen connect food business owners with community resources, mentorship, and skills development–further improving community food security by bringing more affordably priced foods into the local market.
